Made From Their Voices
The Spoken Toast creates a film built entirely from sit-down interviews during the wedding reception.
Every film reveals the couple through the voices, stories, and memories of the people who know them best.
Every Voice Has a Place
No two guests tell the same story. Every interview is thoughtfully woven into a single narrative filled with heartfelt memories, unexpected honesty, and laughter.
The result is a documentary that’s deeply personal and genuinely entertaining.

Why This Exists
My name is Danny. After working alongside wedding filmmakers throughout Northern California, I noticed that the voices and stories of family and friends were rarely captured.
When my dad passed away before my wedding, I understood what was truly missing. There were plenty of photos, but nothing left of his voice.
That’s why I created The Spoken Toast.
A lapel picture pin of my father gifted to me before my wedding.
How It Works
-
We arrive in the evening and quietly set up a thoughtfully placed interview area near the reception.
-
Guests are invited individually by our team with zero disruption to the event.
Interviews are guided with conversational prompts by the filmmaker. Most last only a few minutes, allowing guests to return easily to the celebration.
At nearly every wedding, guests remark they wish this had existed at their own wedding.
-
Every guest reflection is edited into a single cohesive narrative film built entirely from their voices.
The final film is intentionally paced rather than a collection of clips.
